Security and Health Measures taken by Radiologie Varad
In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic situation, you will find here all the efforts we are making to protect our customers and our employees. Please note that this list is not complete since we are constantly trying to improve ourselves and implement new measures according to the evolution of the virus and the recommendations we receive for the Health Ministry and the Quebec Radiologist Association
In order to protect our employees and customers in the best possible way, we have obtained a supply of handmade masks that comply with current safety standards. These masks are washed with hot water and soap between each use, according to the Hygiene specifications of the Health Ministry.
In terms of cleaning measures, we have made the following changes in order to provide you with a cleaner and bacterial-free environment:
- Spacing appointments every 30 minutes in order to carry out a thorough cleaning between patients
- Disinfection of chairs, lockers and cubicles used by patients after their departure
- Disinfection of door handles and waiting room chairs every hours
- Disinfection of electronic payment terminals between each use
We confirm all our appointments and validate the health of each person the day before their appointment. When the patient comes to the clinic, we ask him the same questions and have him fill out a survey about his health and the health of the persons he is living with. If the patient or someone in his family has flu-like symptoms, he will not be able to enter the clinic.
At the reception, the following measures have been added:
- Each person who comes to the clinic must complete and sign a health survey. Anyone who refuses to complete and/or sign the questionnaire will not be allowed to access the clinic.
- We ask everyone to respect the minimum distance of 2 meters between each: at registration, during the waiting time, and during your exam, as possible.
- Present your medicare card and your request so that the employee does not have to handle them.
- Hand washing is compulsory at least every 30 minutes for reception staff and between each patient for medical staff.
Finally, we will make sure that our employees serve you quickly and amicably to limit the time you spend inside the Clinic and your interaction with other patients.
