Why must we pay for ultrasound examinations and not for other types of radiological examinations? |

Some examinations done in a private clinic are not covered by the Quebec health care system (RAMQ) and must therefore be paid for by the patient. This is the case with ultrasound, Doppler, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Some drug injection medications (Depo-Medrol, Xylocaine) are also not covered. |
