Dr. Guy Brassard is a graduate of L’Université de Montréal in Medicine and in Diagnostic Radiology. In 1975, he was a radiologist in his native hometown of Valleyfield at Centre Hospitalier du Suroit, where he was an active participant in the construction of the radiology department in the newly built hospital, which was inaugurated in 1981. He was Vice-President of the Association of Radiologists of Quebec from 1984 to 1993. In 1995, he joined the team of radiologists at St. Luc Hospital, at the same time becoming a member of Varad Radiology Clinic and then becoming its General Director. In 2000, along with his colleagues, he was involved with the project of relocating Varad Radiology Clinic to Complexe Desjardins, a highly technological environment. He continues to practice in the fields of general radiology, ultrasonography and in the investigation of breast cancer. |
